welcome to the library for good website!

what is a “political education?”

one that empowers individuals to:

  • engage in their local political processes,

  • develop their civic competencies,

  • learn about government policies and systems, and how they affect our daily lives,

  • build media and social media literacy skills,

  • apply critical thinking to help address community needs, and

  • continuously expand their knowledge of historical contexts, current events, and possible futures on our planet.

the library for good is a safe space for people to quietly gather, study, and learn about politics, freedom, history, and critical thinking.

want to learn about a particular moment in history? or a specific cultural movement? we can help!
